CYL is committed to addressing the challenging attitudes of today through understanding and communication with young people.

CYL is a medium sized charity, which manages a variety of community-based services and initiatives, the majority of which are youth-oriented. CYL became operational in January 2007 and gained its reputation for its targeted work with young people, its approach to diversity, and its innovative services. In the time since its inception, CYL has grown from a vision to a reputable charity with a relevant track record and a growing database of over 9000 young people. In 2007, CYL won an award for Best Creative Community Group (BBI Southwark 2007) and has received a lot of media support/coverage from mediums such as BBC1 6 o’clock news, Channel 5 “Street Crime Live” ITV “London Today News”, Discovery Channel “Psychic Private Eye”, South London Press.
