Community Partners

At CYL our doors are open to likeminded organisations and individuals. Who work with or are willing to address the rising number of social issues young people face today. Below is a short list of some of our Community Partners and links to their sites. Some who may have funded or sponsored us or others we have worked with or for. All dedicated to elevating and helping young people.

Clapham Youth Centre

Clapham Youth Centre is a part of Knight's Association of Youth Clubs. They were among the first to start youth work with young people in London years ago. We work in partnership with the Clapham Park Project and Bleinheim Gardens Estate. visit the site

Love Music Hate Racism uses the positive energy of the music scene to fight back against the racism being pushed by Nazi organisations like the BNP. Join up and see how you can get involved where you live. visit the site

 

Connexions Central London

Connexions is the information, advice and guidance service for all 13-19 year-olds offering help and support with a wide range of issues including education, careers, health, housing, personal issues and life choices.

 

Lambeth Council

Lambeth Council's services are provided in one of the most vibrant and diverse boroughs in London in areas including Brixton, Streatham, Clapham, Norwood and Waterloo. visit the site

 

Lewisham Council

Several departments including Welfare and Attendance, Youth Service, etc work alongside CYL helping to engage local young people in media related activities. visit the site

 

Positive Activities for Young People (PAYP)

PAYP provides young people (8-19) most at risk of committing a crime or becoming socially excluded with quality developmental sports, arts and cultural activities that are not only appealing but focused on each young person's individual needs, equipping them with new skills and improving their self esteem. visit the site

 

NDC

To empower residents and strengthen community groups so the community plays a key role in NDC decisions and is able to take responsibility for project delivery. New Cross Gate NDC works with individual groups to develop their organisations and strengthen the programmes that they deliver.visit the site
